At the time of birth, an etheric book is formed which records each of your thoughts, words, actions, and desires you have experienced. This information is collected from all of your past lives and recorded in the book of life (Akash). When we promise something to someone, it enters into a contract and commitment, with which you enter the conformity of the 'law of the universe consciously.' This energy keeps you in charge of all your vows and promises that you have made in this or past lives; these play an essential role in your current everyday life until such contracts are concluded with a particular person or situation.

The most frequent among these types of contractual burdens are: wedding vows, vows of poverty (these usually arise from past lives when someone has become a nun, monk, etc.), and other vows and promises that we are unconsciously making through our lives every day without being aware of the negative and burdensome energy we create.

These files or contracts generate limiting beliefs, resistance, and/or patterns of sabotage in your energy field. These vows carry lessons that we must learn, and if we have not experienced and learned the lesson, the energy insists on remaining in your record until you have done so. Other vows and contracts that have already been fulfilled, or have already expired, can still be energy-born to your book of life as well as your everyday life, as their legacy of energy can still lie in your field, holding you back, waiting to be fully dissolved.
